This also gives you some safer territory to build up. They can easily look after themselves which allowed my army to go take out the vampire counts and push Skrag back. What i did was give the Eastern Oblast to one of the empire factions and held only Praag and Kislev. If you focus too much on chaos and the north, the Empire will likely get crushed by a mix of greenskins/skrag/vcs/festus and then they will come for you next. I found the best thing to do is to secure the Empire first.
